Lexus is300h (UK car model) Odometer stuck at 55K mile

HI, 

 

I have a lexus is300H F-Sport. Lovely Car. My Odometer is stuck at 55K miles. The trip counters still reset and increment, but the odometer is stuck. No amount of battery reset of pulling power cures this. 

 

I did notice another thread with 

Where the same thing happened (see Odometer/ Speedometer) 

 

This is the same speedometer cluster as mine in the is300h. I find it strange this happens to more than one. 

 

Perhaps someone has a cure. Which may or may not involved eeprom programming the 93c66 IC??? I would like to hear anyone who had this or knows of it and maybe cured it.

I dont want to buy new odometer and have it reset to '00000'

Hey man.

Try to flash it with this dump. Worked for me on US is350, it has imperial units.
